- AI can map someone’s skills in seconds. But can it tell you what they could do next? Most skills profiles are built on CVs, job titles and work history. In other words, they’re very good at describing the past. At myCareerCompanion, we look beyond skills. We combine competencies with interests, motivation and career aspirations to uncover where someone could grow next. Because strategic workforce planning shouldn’t just be about what people can do today. It should reveal their potential for tomorrow. Sofie explains why in this short
- We’re getting better at mapping people’s skills. But what if those skills are becoming outdated faster than ever? Skills-based HR is a major step forward. Yet understanding what someone can do today is only part of the picture. To make better decisions about development, internal mobility and workforce planning, we also need to understand where people could go next. In our latest blog, Sofie Priem explores why transferable competencies, interests and motivation deserve a bigger role in how we think about future talent. >>> Read
- How well do you really know your people? Not just who performs well, but where talent is underused, who wants to grow, who is disengaging, and where the real retention risks are. Too many talent decisions are still based on assumptions. The myCareerCompanion Workforce Intelligence Accelerator replaces those assumptions with actionable insights, in just six weeks. Know where the potential is. See where it’s getting stuck. Decide where to act first. Find out more >>> https://lnkd.in/e9hFNnJc
- One thing I find particularly interesting when working with PhD researchers: they often have far more transferable skills than they realise. Analytical thinking, project management, problem-solving, communication, resilience, working independently... They’ve built them throughout years of research, but translating those skills to a career outside academia isn’t always that obvious. That’s exactly what I like about our collaboration with YouReCa@KU Leuven. Helping young researchers put words to what they can do, understand
- A PhD opens many doors. But which one is right for you? Together with KU Leuven’s Career Centre YouReCa@KU Leuven, myCareerCompanion has been helping PhD researchers to better understand their talents, motivations and career drivers, and turn those insights into conscious career choices. A collaboration we’re proud of. Full customer story in the comments. #CareerDevelopment #PhD #TalentDevelopment #myCareerCompanion
