Overview
It was established in 1996 as Mobistar, a joint venture between Telinfo and France Télécom, and took the Orange Belgium name on 9 May 2016. Its registered office is at Avenue du Bourget 3 in Evere, Brussels, with further sites in Ghent and Charleroi. The shares are listed on Euronext Brussels under ISIN BE0003735496, and Orange S.A. holds a majority stake through Atlas Services Belgium. Xavier Pichon has been chief executive since 1 September 2020. In November 2021 Orange Belgium agreed to buy 75% of the Walloon cable operator VOO for 1.8 billion EUR. The transaction closed on 2 June 2023, Nethys exchanged its remaining stake for new Orange Belgium shares on 2 May 2024, and VOO S.A. was dissolved on 1 October 2025, with the fixed network assets moving to Orange NetCo. The 4G network covers 99% of the Belgian population and 5G reaches 85%. In July 2025 the company signed a memorandum of understanding with Proximus to deploy fibre across lower-density parts of Wallonia. It also runs the mobile brand hey!, launched in September 2021. Full-year 2025 revenue was 1,963.4 million EUR with EBITDAaL of 566.1 million EUR.
