PrediQT Technologies

Overview

PrediQT Technologies was established in the autumn of 2024 by four co-founders carrying a combined 75 years of experience in computational fluid dynamics and weather forecasting. The team is led by Marc Tombroff as CEO and Charles Hirsch as Chief Scientific Officer, joined by Dr. Kunal Puri as CTO and Dr. Luke Peffers covering weather forecasting. Hirsch and Tombroff previously co-built NUMECA International, the Brussels CFD software company spun out of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1993 and acquired by Cadence Design Systems in February 2021 for around USD 188.6M in net cash consideration.

The company develops scale-resolving simulation software under the SuRF platform, designed to deliver ultra-high-fidelity fluid dynamics results on modern GPU hardware. The product roadmap extends to hybrid GPU and quantum execution as production-ready quantum systems mature, with the team explicitly building quantum-inspired numerical methods now to position for future hardware. Target markets include propulsion, energy, aerospace, and meteorology, all sectors where higher-fidelity simulation reduces physical testing cycles and lowers HPC carbon footprint.

PrediQT is registered in Brussels under Belgian company number BE 1015.224.863. In December 2025 the company closed a EUR 4M seed round led by Paris-based deep-tech fund Quantonation, with participation from Belgian investor SlachCtech and French investor Franck Brunel. The funds are earmarked for engineering and physics team expansion plus design-partner collaborations with industrial customers.
