The company develops Depthsense™ technology that integrates advanced imaging components and hardware with middleware to enable machines to map surroundings, objects and people for applications in automotive, mobile, industrial, and smart living sectors.

- We’ve been working with Sony Depthsensing Solutions on a sensor fusion kit. Sony brings the sensors, we bring the computer. Four Sony AS-DT1 LiDARs and an RGB camera with a Sony IMX900 sensor connect to one AI BLOX edge computer. Sony’s SLAM software runs on it and builds a live 3D map of its surroundings, in full colour. - Last Sunday, Olivier Bulteel, Director of our IC Design Center joined the #IEEESensors2026. He presented “A Home at the Edge of the Cloud”, highlighting the latest advances in Edge AI technologies and architectures for image sensors at Sony. He was joined at the workshop by Davide Marani and Francesco Mattioli Della Rocca, our colleagues from Sony EUTDC (Trento), bringing the #OneSonyEurope spirit to the conference.
