Overview
Tilroy builds omnichannel retail software for stores and retail chains in the Benelux. It is ISO 27001 certified and NF525 compliant. The company began in 1999 as Prosteps, a custom software firm for retail and wholesale, and put its first custom webshop live in 2003. In 2015 A.S.Adventure, AVA, Moose In The City and Runners' Lab became customers, and in 2018 the portfolio passed 1,000 stores. Other named customers include Standaard Boekhandel, x2O, Tuincenter Claes, Jan Maes, Twice As Nice and KRC Genk Fanshop. In December 2021 Tilroy announced the acquisition of Adsoft of Kasterlee, a software supplier for bicycle shops. On 27 April 2023 AXI, a Willebroek-based software and IT group active in Belgium and the Netherlands, announced it was acquiring Tilroy, bringing the combined headcount to over 450 while keeping the Tilroy brand. It was AXI's first acquisition after Strada Partners invested in late 2022. Tilroy is now part of the Reconneqt group, headquartered in Breda. Tilroy operates from Dijkstraat 6 in Aartselaar and Stadionstraat 27 in Breda.

Elk online order moest manueel opnieuw ingegeven
- Last post I said we were about to ship things that were not on the table a year ago. Here is the first one. We already offered an e-commerce module for many years. We rebuilt it. Customers told us what they were missing. Support tickets and onboarding told us where it hurt. The market told us what a webshop is supposed to look like today. Tilroy E-commerce. Your shop. Your look. Your platform. There is always something newer to build. A rebuild like this never used to make the roadmap. Now it does. The way we build today is
- One prompt can build an app in half an hour. But what does it take to build software a retailer can rely on every day? Tilroy - Omnichannel Retail Software, part of Anchr, captures that difference brilliantly. AI is helping their team move faster and explore features that weren’t feasible a year ago. Behind that progress are robust APIs, a solid backend and real people who understand the retail business. 💚 This is exactly the kind of AI initiative we’re excited to support across Anchr. Thanks for sharing your insights, Peter De
- One prompt, one app. That is the story everyone believes right now. Sevilla, this summer. On a bench, in the morning, I built a city app. No laptop, just my phone. My to-do list as the input. It turned that list into a two-day plan. 32 stops on a clickable map, tick them off as you walk. Even when you go off route on impulse. Half an hour of work. And it worked. That is how simple it looks. And that is how clients arrive at the table today. But that little app was not scalable, not secure, and almost everything sat in the frontend.
