Overview
Alain Rolle co-founded nxgsat with Frederik Simoens, serving as CEO and CTO of the company. nxgsat raised EUR 1.2M in seed funding from PMV and imec.istart in October 2025 to accelerate development of its high-speed 5G satellite modem designed for non-terrestrial network applications. The company has secured commercial and governmental contracts in the space sector and plans a commercial release in Q2 2026.
