Anne Pieters

Overview

Anne Pieters is a co-founder of qubes, where she serves as chief operating officer and biostatistics consultant. Based in Waterloo, she has held that role since February 2022.

Before founding qubes, Pieters spent more than two decades at Bristol Myers Squibb. She joined as a statistician in 1998 and held that position until 2010, when she became planning and execution lead within Global Biometric Science. She was appointed associate director of Global Biometric Science in 2014, and from 2018 led global biometric sciences for market access and HEOR, becoming director of Global Biometrics and Data Sciences for market access and HEOR in March 2020, a role she held until January 2022.

Pieters studied mathematics at the University of Liège, completing a Master of Sciences in 1997, and went on to a Master of Science in Biostatistics at Hasselt University, which she completed in 1998.
