Benedicte Boonefaes is the founder of ella-energy, based in Kortrijk. She co-founded Ella Energy AI in April 2025.
Before that she spent three years as a legal tech consultant at Henchman, which became Lexis Create+, from April 2022 to May 2025. From November 2020 to April 2022 she worked in business development at Showpad. Earlier she completed a marketing internship at MAISTER in 2019 and a sales and marketing internship at Be So Happy in 2018.
Boonefaes studied at Sint-Lodewijkscollege Brugge, where she followed the economics track until 2015, and then took a bachelor's degree in business management at Arteveldehogeschool from 2015 to 2018. She went on to the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, graduating with a master's degree in business economics in 2020.
