Overview
Founded by PJ Bouten, Louis Jonckheere, and Peter Minne in Ghent, Showpad became one of the early breakout SaaS companies in the Belgian ecosystem. The platform enables sales and marketing teams to align on content, equip reps with the right materials, and track engagement throughout the sales process.
Showpad raised substantial venture funding and expanded its US presence significantly, with dual headquarters in Ghent and Chicago. The company competes in the sales enablement category alongside Seismic and Highspot. Total lifetime funding reached $188M.
In August 2025, Vector Capital, a US private equity firm, acquired Showpad and merged it with Bigtincan, an Australian sales enablement platform. At the time of acquisition, Showpad reported EUR 160M in ARR and approximately 600 employees, with 120 based in Ghent.
Showpad is a key reference company in the Ghent ecosystem narrative and a proof point for B2B SaaS scaling out of Belgium.

- Here’s a question worth asking anyone pitching you an AI agent: Can it tell you which deck closes deals — or just which decks exist? A general-purpose AI configured by IT can surface a document. It doesn’t know which pitch structure correlates with higher win rates, or which learning module best prepared a rep for a competitive objection. That data lives in your enablement platform — in the engagement signals, the meeting outcomes, the deal patterns. On September 29, Vanessa Metcalf and Justin Hill are breaking down why the

- A global leader in fragrances and flavors for 130 years, IFF manages one of the world’s most expansive chemical catalogs. But IFF marketers Pedro Correia and Daniel Ruiz saw what many revenue leaders see: sellers overwhelmed by technical info, defaulting to the product lines they know best, and leaving cross-sell opportunities on the table. Their answer? An interactive experience built in Showpad that turned IFF’s complex content library into a guided buyer experience — and drove a 27% increase in deal value along the way. Learn how
