Overview
Benoit Deper founded Aerospacelab in Charleroi in 2018, with the ambition to industrialize satellite manufacturing in Europe. The company is building a factory targeting 500 satellites per year. This positions Aerospacelab as a central player in Europe's growing ambitions around sovereign space infrastructure and satellite constellations.
Aerospacelab has raised EUR 131M in total, including a EUR 94M Series B in August 2025 and EUR 37.5M from the European Investment Bank. The company operates in the intersection of space technology, advanced manufacturing, and defense-adjacent markets.
