Overview
Ebrahim Lamkanfi is a co-founder of pathw, a role he has held since July 2018. He is based in Gent.
Before that he spent most of his career in academic research. He was a doctoral researcher at Ghent University from January 2006 to December 2009, then a postdoctoral fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology from January 2010 to October 2011, returning to Ghent University as a postdoctoral researcher from October 2011 to January 2015. His first recorded position was as a project engineer at VK Architects & Engineers between March 2005 and January 2006.
Lamkanfi studied civil engineering at Ghent University, graduating with a Master in Science and Engineering in 2004, and also studied at Delft University of Technology. He completed his secondary education in science and mathematics at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege Brussel between 1992 and 1998.
