Overview
Gaetan Servais is the CEO of Groupe Noshaq, a role he has held since April 2008. At Noshaq he also served as director general from April 2008 until December 2024. Since December 2005 he has been a co-founder of Les Ardentes Festival.
Between 1999 and 2008 he worked for the Région wallonne and the Communauté française as chief of cabinet, government secretary and special adviser. He was an attaché at the Conseil économique, social et environnemental de Wallonie (CESE Wallonie) from 1996 to 1999, and before that an expert at the Bureau fédéral du Plan from 1995 to 1996.
Servais studied at the Athénée Royal d'Eupen (Königliches Athenäum Eupen) from 1980 to 1986, then took a licence in economic sciences at the University of Liège between 1986 and 1991. He remained at the university as a research assistant in economics from 1991 to 1995.
