Overview
Gregory Fischer is the founder of medical-robots, where he is chief executive and president and a co-inventor. He is based in Waco. He has also been lead launch operations engineer at SpaceX since April 2024, having joined the company in January 2020 as a test operations engineer II and served as lead test engineer from January 2023.
Before SpaceX, Fischer worked at Corning Incorporated from April 2017 to January 2020, first as a process engineer and then as a production engineer. He was at FMC Technologies from June 2013, initially as a rotational engineer and from April 2015 as a product engineer. He had earlier spent the summers of 2011 and 2012 as a research intern at Corning Incorporated.
Fischer studied at Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus from 2009 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science, both in mechanical engineering.
