Overview
Henri Van Overmeire is the founder and CMO of PointCaré, based in Gent. He founded the company in March 2022 and served as its CTO until April 2026, when he took up the marketing role. Between March 2024 and April 2025 he was also a co-founder of Insoleus.
He was an anesthesiology resident at UZ Gent from September 2022 to February 2024, having worked as a medical doctor at az Glorieux in the summer of 2022. Before that he was a software engineer at Runalyse from September 2021 to September 2022.
He studied at Ghent University throughout, taking a master's degree in Physics & Astronomy between 2012 and 2017, a bachelor's degree in Medicine from 2015 to 2019 and a Doctor of Medicine from 2015 to 2022, followed by a Master of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering completed in June 2024.
