Jasper Louage is the owner of Mustry Solutions, which he founded in February 2022 and runs from Kortrijk. His stated areas of expertise are Docker, Python, Kubernetes, Ignition and automation.
From February 2021 to December 2022 he was an Industry 4.0 sales engineer at AT-Automation B.V., and before that he worked as an industrial IoT consultant at Ad Ultima Group from September 2018 to February 2021.
He studied at Ghent University from 2013 to 2018, completing a Master of Electrical Engineering Technology with automation as his main subject.

- Industrial software is struggling to build fast with AI. A lot of our systems, legacy SCADA and MES, were never designed for this pace, and they're falling behind faster than ever. Inductive Automation did a great job with Ignition 8.3 to avoid getting left behind. But even so, letting AI loose in your code base doesn't feel safe. A lot of our systems run on a single production server that people work on directly, or one development server where three developers push changes at the same time. - Unified namespace conversations start with MQTT, and rightly so. If you want the current state of a line, a machine, a tag, MQTT is hard to beat. Until you want to use it for transactional data. Sales orders, picking requests and production orders have to move through the whole enterprise, and every one of them has to arrive exactly once. That is where it gets hard. There is no queue to look at. QoS 2 gets the message to the client once, but it says nothing about whether your script actually handled it, and there is no redelivery
