Overview
Joeri Ruyssinck is CEO of ml2grow, based in Gent. He joined ML2Grow in 2018 as a machine learning expert and took up the role of chief executive in February 2019, holding both positions until July 2026. In January 2026 he became a senior manager and member of the board of directors for AI engineering at delaware BeLux.
Ruyssinck studied at Ghent University, where he completed a master's degree in civil engineering in 2011 and a doctorate in computer science engineering in 2017. He was a PhD researcher there from 2011 to 2017 and a postdoctoral fellow from 2017 to December 2020, and from 2016 to December 2020 he was a senior machine learning engineer at imec.
Earlier, he held summer jobs as a helpdesk technician at AZ Sint-Lucas Gent in 2009 and 2010, in programming at ON Semiconductor in 2008, and in administrative support at KBC Bank & Verzekering in 2006.
