Julien Vandeleene

Overview

Vandeleene founded BePark in September 2011. By September 2022 the company managed 20,000 parking spaces in urban areas, and that month it formed Electra Belux with the French charging company Electra. In March 2022 he attended the MIPIM property fair for the eighth time as founder and chief executive of the Brussels firm BePark-Izix, which offered parking management through Izix and parking promotion through BePark. He co-founded Lastlink with Guillaume Gosse, a former real estate project developer at Immobel, with the support of Alphastone and Maxime Xantippe. Both are managing partners. The company launched with a EUR 5 million credit line and nine sites in the Brussels region, and describes shared urban warehousing as a way to replace large delivery trucks with cargo bikes and light electric vehicles.

Julien Vandeleene is the founder and chief executive of BePark, a Brussels parking company founded in 2011. BePark runs a platform for finding, booking and accessing car parks, from monthly subscriptions to hourly rentals, with smartphone access opening barriers instead of badges or tickets. It reports 50,000 users, 550 parking locations and 22,500 spaces, operates in Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Liege, Namur, Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Lille and Luxembourg City, and counts around 50 staff. On 31 May 2023 the French group Indigo acquired a 60.2% majority stake in BePark, which at that point ran a network of 580 locations with about 30 employees and supported more than 350 companies. Vandeleene is also co-founder and managing partner of Lastlink, which converts urban warehouses into hubs for mobility, storage, leisure, retail and last-mile delivery. Lastlink holds 12 sites and 30,000 m² of hub space in the Brussels region and raised EUR 5.5 million in November 2024.
