Overview
Koen Warson is the CEO of blubyte, a role he took up in March 2025. He is based in Hasselt. Since October 2020 he has also been a co-founder of Kadanza.
From October 2020 to March 2025 he was Managed Services Delivery Manager and Partner at CBTW, overlapping with a position at Arrow Electronics as Solution Delivery Manager for Arrow Xpand Managed Services from August 2020 to March 2025. He was CTO of BluBird nv/sa from November 2013 to October 2020.
His earlier career was largely with Arrow ECS, where he joined as a virtualisation specialist in November 2007 and went on to work as a solution architect and pre-sales manager until June 2019, including a period as solution architect at Arrow ECS Nederland from 2014. Before that he was a support engineer on the Intel team at IBM and IBM Belgium from 2005 to November 2007, an instructor at Syntra from 2001 to 2006, and a consultant at Business Network Systems over the same period.
He studied at Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg from 1996 to 1998, attended humaniora Kindsheid Jesu Hasselt, and holds Citrix and Microsoft certifications.
