Laurence Herbots

Overview

Laurence Herbots is Managing Director of DR Gaming Technology and is based in Knokke-Heist. He took up that role in September 2024, having joined the company in October 2023 as financial controller for the DRGT Infiniti group Co.

Before that he worked as a salesperson at Cycles Lampo from May 2021 to October 2023, where he had earlier been a mechanic and salesperson between July 2007 and August 2018. He was at EY from October 2018 to May 2021, first as a junior auditor and then as a senior auditor. He completed internships at AlliA in 2018, BASF in 2016 and Katoen Natie in 2015, and worked as a painter at Beaussaert en Zoon from July 2014 to June 2015.

Herbots studied logistics management at Arteveldehogeschool from 2013 to 2016 and took a course on shortsea shipping at the Escola Europea de Shortsea Shipping in 2015. He then followed a bridging programme at Ghent University in 2016 and 2017, completing a master's degree there in Handelswetenschappen: Finance and Risk in 2018.
