Overview
Hermans trained as a web developer and built a scheduling tool in 2017 for a food retail franchise, which then spread to other franchises in the same group. Shyfter joined the Digital Attraxion acceleration programme in 2020. The company converted from an SPRL into an SA on 31 March 2021, raising 205,000 euros through the conversion of loans and 100,000 euros in cash. Vincent Baille resigned from the board on 17 July 2026, leaving Hermans, Mike Vandenhooft and Sambrinvest Spin-off/Spin-out as the three directors of SHYFTER SA.
He incorporated Shyfter as an SPRL in February 2019 together with Vincent Baille, subscribing 60 of the 100 initial shares. Shyfter raised 800,000 euros from Sambrinvest and Mike Vandenhooft in April 2021, converted into an SA the same year, and raised 1.5 million euros in May 2025, with welovefounders joining Vandenhooft. Hermans sits on the board of SHYFTER SA alongside Vandenhooft and Sambrinvest Spin-off/Spin-out, and the statutes adopted on 29 July 2026 name him as the holder of all Class A shares. The company reported profitability in 2024 and nearly 1,800 clients in May 2025.
