Lisse Van Acker

Overview

Lisse Van Acker is a co-founder of Bright Energy, a company she started in September 2019 and where she remains today. She is based in Gent.

In the same month she took up her role at Bright Energy, she joined Jones Day as a junior associate in its M&A practice, a position she held until December 2019. Earlier in 2019 she took part in Expedition Do!, a programme run by Durf Ondernemen at Ghent University, from March to October. She worked as a legal co-worker at LICTORES from January to August 2018, and before that as an administrative co-worker at Van Steenbrugge Advocaten from 2014 to 2018.

Van Acker studied law at Ghent University, completing a master's degree between 2014 and 2019, and spent 2017 to 2018 at the University of Valencia, where she also obtained a master's degree in law.
