Overview
Mark Nelissen is the founder and chief technology officer of gemsotec, a company he founded in July 2017. He is based in Brussels, and states expertise in team management, web development, software architecture, cloud infrastructure and web application security.
From January 2015 to October 2017 he was a senior software engineer and technical lead at TAKTIK. Before that he spent close to a decade at BSB, which he joined as a software engineer in September 2005, becoming technical team leader in January 2013 and software architect in February 2014, a role he held until November 2014.
He studied electrotechnical engineering at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, completing a master's degree there between 1999 and 2005.
