Overview
Maxime Snick is the co-founder and CEO of octave, based in Brussels. He co-founded Octave Energy in April 2020 and has served as its general manager since.
From October 2019 to June 2021 he was a senior project manager at EPEX SPOT. Before that he spent five years at Sia Partners, joining as a consultant in October 2014 and becoming a senior consultant in January 2018 and a supervising senior consultant in June 2019. Earlier, he carried out a master thesis project at Coopers Brewery Ltd. between September 2013 and June 2014, and worked as a researcher at Capsugel from October 2011 to June 2012.
Snick studied chemical engineering at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2009 and a master's degree in 2011, with a year at Mines Paris - PSL in 2010 and 2011. He went on to take a master's degree in energy and resources management at UCL, graduating in 2014.
