Overview
Simon Polet is a Belgian entrepreneur and co-founder of Merchery, which he started in May 2020. From April 2018 to September 2021 he was also a co-founder of Drink Big.
Earlier, he worked as a business developer at Base Design between July 2018 and October 2019. He held two associate positions at eFounders during 2017, and before that completed two internships at Aircall, running from January to August 2016 and from September to December 2016. In the summer of 2014 he took up an internship at the Wallonia Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX).
Polet studied economics and management at the Université de Namur from 2011 to 2014, spending 2013 to 2014 at the University of Antwerp through the Erasmus Belgica programme. He then took a master's degree in finance at the Louvain School of Management from 2014 to 2016, and studied business administration and management at Tongji University from 2015 to 2016.
