Stefan Morcov is CEO and co-founder of Hermix - win public contracts w. AI, a company he co-founded in January 2022. He is based in Brussels. Between June 2023 and November 2025 he was Vice President of TechAngels Romania.
From November 2018 to March 2022 he was Managing Director and co-founder of Tremend Software Consulting. Before that he spent almost two decades at SIVECO, joining SIVECO Romania in August 2000 as a software engineer, senior software architect and senior project manager, then serving as product manager and head of unit from 2005, line of business senior director from December 2006, and Deputy VicePresident and EU Business Director from February 2008 until June 2018. From March 2015 to July 2018 he was concurrently Managing Director of SIVECO Belgium. He began his career as a freelance software developer between 1997 and 2000, working for 4E Software, the Soros Foundation, Sports Club 6, the ARDOR Foundation and KH Dietrich International Spedition.
Morcov studied at Dimitrie Cantemir high school and took an engineer's degree in computer science at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in 2000, followed by studies in project management and software engineering at The Open University in 2002 and an MBA at Tiffin University in 2007. He completed a PhD in engineering science at KU Leuven in November 2021, on IT project complexity management.

- Writing with AI is ok. It's a problem only if you don't know how to write with AI. And yes, you should learn writing, before writing with AI.
- There is a serious Google Chrome zero-day vulnerability open. Pls update your Google Chrome on Windows and Apple, urgently. I've never seen anything like this. Certainly AI-driven. It's not just spoofing your email. It's actually hijacking your Google session. i.e. impersonating you online. Google issued an emergency update 2 days ago. CVE-2026-87491. Google confirmed it, but classified it as medium. We have reasons to believe it is very serious. Update your Chrome browser now. Google says urgently update Chrome to: Windows/Linux:
- The US is home to the most incredible AI companies in the world. South Korea will give free access to AI to all its citizens. Unlimited tokens. Europe does nothing. Absolutely nothing. This is how you destroy a great civilization. You just do nothing.

- Human-generated slop has a much longer tradition than AI slop. We've generated huge amounts of bullshit, thousands of years. We published useless research papers, plagiarized essays, recycled books and PhD thesis, unreadable marketing PR, junk movies and music, unintelligible abstract or naive art. And it's ok. This is how society functions. We are random, we copy, change, interpret, redesign, learn, and fail, continuously. You have no right to be scandalized by AI slop. We've lived with slop for ages.
