Overview
Vaast Vanoverschelde is a business executive based in Gent. He has been chief executive of DAMAGRO since April 2024, a role he holds alongside two other chief executive positions: at STAMAGRO, which he has led since April 2020, and at EMPRO Europe, where he has been in charge since 2013.
Before those appointments, Vanoverschelde sat on the Historical Commission of Causa P.J. Triest from 2010 to 2015, and from 2009 to 2013 he worked on research and international projects at Museum Dr. Guislain.
He studied history at Ghent University, completing a master's degree there between 2004 and 2008, and spent the 2006 to 2007 academic year reading for a bachelor's degree in history at the University of Aberdeen.
