Overview
Wouter Van Putte is the founder and CEO of PUXANO, a company he founded in May 2021. He is based in Diksmuide.
Before that he held a postdoctoral research position at Universiteit Gent from November 2019 to September 2021, overlapping with the first months of PUXANO. Earlier he was research and innovation manager at Universiteit Antwerpen from January 2018 to October 2019, and a postdoctoral researcher at VIB from November 2017 to January 2018. He began his recorded career as a consultant at Hict from February 2017 to November 2017.
Van Putte studied at Ghent University, where he took a licentiate in philosophy between 2001 and 2005, a master's in biochemistry and biotechnology between 2005 and 2010, and a PhD in the same field, completed in 2016. He followed a postgraduate programme in financial management at VIVES Continue Business from 2016 to 2017.
