Every robotics vendor wants to be Apple.
We built the Android.
Most enterprise robotics platforms still follow the same model: one vendor, one robot, one software stack.
Buy their robot.
Use their software.
Follow their roadmap.
That works until your business needs more than one type of robot.
A security robot isn't an inspection robot. An indoor robot isn't a marine drone. Different environments require different hardware, yet enterprises still want a single way to operate, monitor and manage them.
That's where the industry is heading.
At ZYGO, we built the operating system first.
One software platform that runs across robots from different manufacturers. One fleet. One control layer. One compliance workflow.
Now we're building the applications.
The first is ZYGO Protector, an autonomous security application that runs on top of our platform. Tomorrow it will be industrial inspections. Logistics. And every other robotics workflow that shouldn't depend on a single hardware vendor.
Just like Android separated the operating system from the phone manufacturer, enterprise robotics needs to separate the intelligence from the robot.
The robot becomes hardware.
The value moves to the operating layer and the applications running on top of it.
The future won't belong to the company building the best robot.
It will belong to the company building the best robotics platform.
