Most robotics companies compete to build the best robot.
That's the wrong fight.
A great robot is a real advantage. But no company builds the best robot for every job, every environment, every situation.
The moment an operation needs more than one kind of robot, and most operations do, owning the whole stack stops being an advantage and starts being a liability. You're funding hardware, software and models for every category you serve, forever, against specialists who only have to be great at one.
We built ZYGOS on the opposite bet: connect the best robots on the market instead of building them all ourselves.
That choice compounds differently than a single robot ever could.
In Arne Depuydt's words: " As products evolve, hardware changes and AI continues to improve, a strong platform, the right partnerships and a highly productive engineering culture continue to compound over time."
Hardware will keep getting better, but we don't need to bet on which model wins. We just need to keep enabling all of them.
