Very often, 'AI hallucinations' have nothing to do with AI.
They're what happens when you ask a calculator to be a counsellor and expect a dashboard to hand you a judgement it was never built for.
Hotel analytics has always had two layers: a deterministic one (RevPAR is RevPAR, non-negotiable), and a judgement one (why is this segment softening, what's the comp set seeing that we're not).
The operators pulling ahead aren't picking a side. They're using each layer for what it's actually good at.
