We were honored to welcome Flemish Minister-President and Minister for Innovation, Matthias Diependaele, to BIO INX for an inspiring discussion on the future of healthcare and the challenges deep-tech and MedTech companies face in scaling breakthrough innovations.
Together, we exchanged ideas on how 3D bioprinting can transform regenerative medicine, personalized healthcare, and animal-free drug development, while highlighting the importance of ensuring that innovative Flemish companies have access to the support and investment needed to grow internationally.
As a proud Flemish spin-off, BIO INX brings together the strengths of chemistry, pharmacy, life sciences, and advanced 3D printing-domains in which Flanders excels. It is exciting to see how our region continues to foster technologies that have the potential to shape the healthcare of tomorrow.
Following the discussion, we had the pleasure of giving Minister-President Diependaele a tour of our laboratories, including a live demonstration of our light-based bioprinting technology. To mark the occasion, we printed a Flemish Lion using our biodegradable shape-memory resin DEGRES INX - a small tribute to Flemish innovation.

A sincere thank you to Matthias Diependaele for the visit, the inspiring discussions, and the shared ambition to strengthen Flanders' position as a global leader in deep-tech, biotech, and healthcare innovation.
