The Technology Roadmaps are driven by the expertise and collaboration of different stakeholders across Europe's waterborne sector. Through this series, we are introducing the people behind the Roadmaps and recognising their contribution to shaping the sector's future.
Today, we are pleased to introduce Anders Öster, General Manager, Research Coordination & Funding at Wärtsilä and Chair of WaterborneTP's Thematic Research and Innovation Group (TRIG) on Vessel Technologies and Operations.
With more than 26 years of experience in maritime research and development, Anders has dedicated his career to advancing innovative technologies and strengthening European collaboration in the maritime sector. Together with experts from across Europe, he has contributed to the technical development of the Technology Roadmap for Short Sea Shipping as well as Cruise, helping to shape the research and innovation priorities needed to accelerate the transition towards a competitive, resilient and sustainable short sea shipping sector.
