We raced four aircraft boarding methods against each other in plain Excel, 3,000 times. Back-to-front boarding is worth 11 seconds on a 21-minute job; change one assumption and it becomes 19 seconds slower than random; and the bag-stow time nobody measures beats every boarding policy anybody argues about. A single run shows none of this — which is the whole case for Monte Carlo simulation.
