In this week's Trends Talk, our Dean Marion Debruyne sets out what a resilient economy needs: competitiveness, talent, and entrepreneurship.
Her starting point: Belgium is one of the most open economies in the world, roughly 80% of GDP tied to trade. That means every major policy decision, on labour, permits, taxation, should be tested against one question: what does this do to the competitiveness of our companies.
