It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our General Director, Patrick De Greve.
For 34 years, starting as a PUB92 alumnus, Patrick was a pillar of Vlerick Business School. From building our Customised Programmes unit and shaping campus developments in Ghent, Leuven, and Brussels, to mentoring countless professionals, listing accomplishments and projects would take pages. Patrick gave everything to our community.
Never asking "why me?" or "what do I get in return?", he led with intelligence, vision, and immense empathy. To Patrick, it was always the people who mattered most. He embodied the true spirit of Vlerick, constantly reminding us that "the show must go on."
We will carry his vision forward in his honour, though he leaves a void that cannot be filled.
Our deepest condolences and thoughts are with his wife Tine, his sons Cesar and Theo, and his loved ones.
