Another optical coating challenge, another opportunity to put our know-how to work. 🔬✨ ICS - Innovative Coating Solutions was proud to support Topcare Laserwork and Olivier Tordeurs, a certified expert in the servicing and maintenance of optical equipment, accredited for renowned companies such as AATON, ARRI, Angénieux, Cooke Optics, Fujinon CCTV & Machine Vision Lenses and Binoculars, Europe, Leitz Cine GmbH and ZEISS Group. This time, the challenge was to restore two sets of Pechan prisms whose original coating no longer fulfilled its optical function, for an ATTON camera. Our team took care of the complete process: → Cleaning → De-coating → Careful masking → Deposition of a stable mirror coating Behind a seemingly simple coating lies a lot of know-how, patience and meticulous work — especially when working with precision optical components where every surface and every detail matters.
