Founded by Dimitri O and Maarten Bodewes in Antwerp, Loop Earplugs turned a traditionally functional and aesthetically unremarkable product into a design-forward consumer brand. The company offers earplugs across different use cases, from high-fidelity concert earplugs that reduce decibels without muffling sound to foam-style sleep earplugs.
Loop's growth was Driven by a strong direct-to-consumer e-commerce strategy and social media presence, particularly on platforms where lifestyle and wellness content thrives. The brand expanded from Belgium to global markets across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Loop is one of Belgium's few notable consumer hardware brands and demonstrates that product design and brand-building can drive significant scale even from a small domestic market. The company won the Deloitte Fast 50 Belgium fastest-growing company award in 2024 (for the second time) and took the Most Sustainable Growth award in 2025.
