Anne Paduart

Overview

Anne Paduart is a co-founder of Decidius, based in Brussels, a role she has held since April 2026. Since August 2025 she has also taken part in the Carbon 13 Berlin Venture Program. Earlier in 2025 she worked at CoLAB NET4CO2 as a business developer and senior researcher in sustainability and carbon capture.

From 2021 to January 2025 she was at Brussels Environment, where she coordinated the Circular Economy Roadmap Brussels within the Alliance Renolution, managed circular procurement projects for buildings, and ran the INTERREG FCRBE project. Between 2019 and early 2021 she held a series of project roles at VITO, including project coordinator for R&D on circular building design and LCA, and work on the ICEBERG H2020 project, Window of Opportunity, the Building Logbook, the Proeftuin Urban Mining and projects with Groep Van Roey and OVAM. She managed circular economy projects at Bond Beter Leefmilieu from 2017 to 2019.

At the Vrije Universiteit Brussel she was a research assistant, completed a doctorate in engineering sciences in 2012 on dynamic and sustainable renovation, and later managed the Circular Retrofit Lab and the H2020 Buildings as Material Banks project. She was a guest lecturer at EPFL and at the University of Antwerp, worked with OVAM as a transformable building consultant, and managed the Innoviris DynamicWall project. She holds a master's degree in civil engineering and architecture from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
