Bob Moens

Overview

Bob Moens is a co-founder of moveUP - digital therapies, where he has been Director Sales & Marketing since November 2018. He is based in Leuven. Since January 2023 he has also been general manager of moveUP Labs, and since September 2018 he has held a MedTech and digital health executive role at Excellerator. Between November 2018 and February 2022 he worked on market development for Belgium and the UK at SkinVision.

Before that, Moens spent time at Medtronic, first as business manager for the cardiovascular group from August 2015 and then as business manager neurovascular until July 2018. He joined Covidien in November 2007 as marketing manager surgical and became business unit director in May 2010, remaining until July 2015. Earlier roles include business consultant at TforG, business manager at Abbott Point of Care, product manager spine surgery at Kyphon Europe, management trainee at ORMIT BeLux N.V. and sales representative at Synthes.

He studied physical therapy at Ghent University, completing a master's degree in 1996, followed by business administration at KU Leuven and the Middle Management Program at Vlerick Business School.
