- Charlotte Truyts from SFPIM & I had an open conversation yesterday about why & how SFPIM is collecting ESG data from portfolio companies. A quick recap of what I found insightful: 1. Snr mgmt sign-off is a must: ESG data is becoming more important as it influences investor relations directly. 2. ESG data from companies does feed into the board meetings to make sure the company is on track. 3. A robust scoring framework measuring progress is preferred over individual company targets. Thanks a lot Charlotte for your insights! Proud
- I was asked to pitch at the ESG summit today. But I brought the story of customers instead. One told me: 'I knew wind was a risk. I didn't know it meant hundreds of thousands in expected annual losses.' That's what our Climate Risk Assessment made visible, one of latest developments. ... making climate change feel very real.
