- Yesterday at WAT.BXL Maarten Mortier , Séverine Nolf and Amaury Sepulchre came to talk about the startup studio model. The inevitable comparison between EU and US startup culture came up. I specifically adhere to Maarten's view that we, as a people, have a tendency to undersell (or in my opinion even self flagellate) ourselves. - Today we are announcing Entourage Fund II Oversubscribed against our €75M target within two weeks of our first outreach, and closed at €100M. Backed entirely by entrepreneurs, family offices, and private investors. Two years ago we launched our first fund, focusing on software and operating with a founder-first approach.
