Robovision

Overview

Founded by Jonathan Berte and Tim Waegeman in Ghent, Robovision builds a platform that makes computer vision accessible to industrial and enterprise customers who need to automate visual inspection, quality control, or object detection but lack the data science capacity to build models from scratch.

The platform covers the full lifecycle: data labeling, model training, deployment, and monitoring. It is used in manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, and retail for applications ranging from defect detection on production lines to automated inventory tracking.

Robovision has raised $42M in total, with the Series A led by Target Global and Astanor Ventures. The company has US expansion plans, extending its reach beyond its established European customer base. With 50+ employees, Robovision represents one of Ghent's established AI platform companies with international ambitions.
