Overview
Valerie Clerck is the founder and CEO of curafyt, a company she started in February 2020. She is based in Brussels.
Before founding curafyt, she held a series of short roles in 2019: finance consultant at Nuvella and marketing consultant for banking and insurance at Belfius. In 2018 she founded Stuff & Stories POP UP. From April 2017 to July 2018 she worked at Mars as a communication advisor in corporate affairs for Royal Canin, and between 2016 and 2017 she was a researcher in digital healthcare with Ava Women and Seaver. She began her career as an equine veterinarian at Dierenkliniek de Bosdreef from 2015 to 2016, having completed internships during her studies at the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital, Dubai Equine Hospital and Summerhill S between 2008 and 2014.
Clerck studied veterinary medicine at Ghent University, taking a bachelor's degree cum laude in 2011 and a master's in 2014. She completed an MBA at Vlerick Business School in 2019, which included the Babson Build Entrepreneurship Program at Babson College.
