Since this week, we should have seen these labels on a lot of our daily feeds, or at least an alternative to them. But up until now, I’m either seeing human-generated content, or people are just ignoring the EU AI Act…
As much as I like the idea of reducing AI slop and misleading content, I’m still doubting the practical enforcement of this part of the AI Act, and looking forward to the first court discussion on where the line is between satiric content and misinformation.
Anyhow, just so you know: since the 2nd of August, the AI Act can be enforced in the EU. If you are generating internal or external content, I would advise you to take a look at the first set of requirements that launched last Sunday, and how this needs to be done under Article 50.
Also, don't wait too long with adapting to it like you did with GDPR...
