Extract real value out of TCR repertoires | 🔎 CEO ImmuneWatch
When I started ImmuneWatch, I was still very much a researcher.
Head down in the analysis. Trying to make the technology better, adding training datasets one at a time.
That is not really my day anymore.
These days I spend most of my time on two things: the team, and the ImmuneWatch brand and business development. My calendar looks less like a lab notebook and more like a mix of everything at once (which is a good thing 😊 )
Today for example:
1️⃣ This morning I recorded a podcast episode with a customer we worked with. I thought it was really exciting to talk with a cancer vaccine company CSO and how TCR seq helped them better understand their clinical data.
-> The kind of thing that reminds you why this work matters.
2️⃣ Straight after, a discovery call with a potential new customer, figuring out together whether TCR sequencing actually fits their research question.
-> Always nice to meet new people that are passionate about what they do
3️⃣ Then a standup with the team, going through what everyone is working on and clearing whatever is blocking them.
4️⃣ This afternoon: building a new outreach campaign.
Four completely different hats in one day. I'll admit that I miss being deep in the data sometimes. But watching the team run with the science, while I focus on getting ImmuneWatch in front of the right people, has its own kind of reward.
