Flying from Bristol Airport in 2027? The first four restaurants of its £400m terminal transformation have been named: Bill's Restaurants, Cosy Club, wagamama, and Tap+Brew, a new bar featuring Bristol craft brewer Wiper and True.
Airport dining works differently from the high street.
The brands design the menus and set the standards. Specialist concession partners run the kitchens day to day.
An airport kitchen is an unforgiving place to reproduce a dish: tighter prep windows, deliveries through security, limited storage. The dish that took years to perfect now has to come out identical, made by a partner team.
For one of the four, it's a first: Cosy Club has never operated in an airport before.
Loungers ltd CEO, Nick Collins, said the team is "really chuffed that Bristol Airport chose us as a local Bristol business".
