Yannick De Wael
Yannick De Wael started Zidis in 2005 as a young entrepreneur and has built it into a 30-plus-person studio operation producing corporate films, explainer videos, animations, podcasts, and recruitment content for Belgian organisations. The company ranked 68th in the Trends Gazellen 2026 list for the Antwerp region.
In April 2026, Yannick De Wael partnered with Akiles, the investment fund of Immoweb founder Christophe Rousseaux, on a 50/50 ownership structure with EUR 7 million committed to a new vehicle called Zidis United. He continues as CEO and is leading expansion into the Netherlands and Luxembourg, alongside selective acquisitions and AI investment in the audiovisual content space.
