AXI

Overview

AXI is a Belgian-Dutch IT service provider that builds and manages infrastructure and telecom environments for organisations of all sizes. The company was founded in 1985 through a management buy-out from the VEV, the predecessor of Voka. Its head office is in Mechelen, with a Dutch office in Breda and further offices across Flanders and in Namur. The group works in four divisions: Enterprise, Managed Connectivity & Voice, Data, AI & Modern Apps, and KMO. Services cover hybrid cloud, networking, security with a 24/7 SOC, Microsoft 365 digital workplace, device management, managed connectivity and voice, and data and AI. Its software products include AXI Retail, AXI Financials, AXI Purchase to Pay and case management software used by public bodies. Paul Peeters led AXI Group as CEO for 16 years and became chairman of the board. Strada Partners became shareholder in October 2022, taking over from Indufin. AXI then acquired Tilroy, InterIT, ITP Group, Datalink, Spikes, OQuila, Teamtel, Willux.be and Megabyte Infrastructure. In July 2026 IceLake became majority shareholder, with Strada Partners staying on as minority shareholder. AXI reported more than 155 million euro in combined revenue, nearly 400 IT specialists and more than 10,000 active customers in the Benelux.
