Founded in 2017 in Brussels, Shayp provides an AI-powered water leak detection platform for building operators. The company's system analyzes consumption data and IoT sensor signals to identify leaks and abnormal usage patterns before they escalate into costly damage or waste.
With $2.36M raised, Shayp targets the commercial real estate, public sector, and property management markets. Water leak detection and efficiency is a growing focus as water scarcity and sustainability reporting obligations put pressure on building owners to demonstrate resource stewardship.
Shayp is part of a cluster of Belgian water technology companies that includes BOSAQ and Waterleau.
