Overview

Mikael Wornoo co-founded TechWolf in 2018 together with Andreas De Neve and Jeroen Van Hautte, and holds the title of President. The three met as computer science students from Ghent and worked together during a Design Project course. TechWolf builds workforce and skills intelligence software that integrates with HR systems including Workday and SAP SuccessFactors.

TechWolf raised a 10 million euro Series A round in May 2022, led by Stride.VC with Fortino Ventures, Acadian Ventures and PMV participating; the company had 25 employees at the time. In June 2024 it closed a 42.75 million dollar Series B round led by Felix Capital, with 20VC, Notion Capital, SAP, SemperVirens, ServiceNow Ventures and Workday Ventures also investing, and had grown past 80 employees. The company was named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2022 and a Leader in the Everest Group Skills Intelligence Platforms PEAK Matrix Assessment in April 2026. Early clients included KBC, Engie and Cegeka; customers now include HSBC, Ericsson, GSK, Booking.com, Adobe and T-Mobile.

As CEO, Mikael leads TechWolf's commercial direction, investor relations, and strategic positioning. He is the outward-facing co-founder while Jeroen Van Hautte leads technical development.
